Ten million daily viewers loved her as Liz Chandler on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. Yet while the cameras rolled and the fictional plotline for Days unfolded each day, Loring was quietly wrestling with her own real-life dramas - the diagnosis of her young son's diabetes, the unraveling of her marriage, and a nagging inner voice from childhood that told her something was wrong. Coincidence Is God's Way of Remaining Anonymous is Loring's spiritual exploration of how coincidence helped her make sense of life's challenges and uncertainties. Coincidence helped her raise on million dollars for diabetes research; it arrived in the form of mysterious letters during her separation and eventual divorce from actor-writer Alan Thicke; and it helped her discover and then heal from the trauma of long-forgotten childhood sexual abuse. It also brought her a chance encounter with the man she is married to today. With eloquence and humor, Loring takes readers on a quest for a deeper understanding of life's journey and the role coincidence plays in all of our lives, revealing that even the most difficult circumstances can be beneficial. Her experiences may be just the evidence readers need to begin watching more closely what they are attracting and what they are running from in their own lives. While coincidences may appear to come out of the blue, Loring suggests that we can all play a starring role in their appearance. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Gloria Loring. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! UP2U was a summer Saturday morning children's magazine show produced and screened by the BBC in 1988 and 1989. It aired during the late summer of each year, the early summer having been taken up by On The Waterfront. These two shows taken together formed the annual summer break replacement for Going Live! over those two years. UP2U was broadcast live from Manchester, the first series from a dedicated studio (at BBC North West in central Manchester) and the second from the programme's own production office. The programme was presented by Tony Dortie, Anthea Turner and Jenny Powell. The programme featured a mix of entertainment features, location reports, guest interviews and 'things-to-do' guides, with the title "UP2U" referring to the fact that, like in Blue Peter, viewers could write in to suggest subject matter for features and articles, and also vote by telephone during the live show for features, inserts and music videos to be shown.
Blue Peter is a long-running BBC television programme for children. It is shown on CBBC, both in its BBC One programming block and on the CBBC Channel. It is named after the blue-and-white flag hoisted by a ship in port when it is ready to sail. The reasoning behind the choice of title is that the programme is intended to be a voyage of adventure and discovery for the viewers, constantly covering new topics.
