´´Everything that Lars applies to paper or canvas is accurate. The work may be loose or precise, but it always reflects an intimate knowledge of the subject and its situation. By presenting several points of view, the well-written text achieves a balance so that readers may enjoy Lars´s art on multiple levels. As a bird artist, I particularly appreciate the sound defense of the painting of birds as art.´´--John Sill, wildlife artist

In the last decades, the market for digital games has grown to nearly $100 billion. During this growth, a special gaming segment and community formed surrounding the direct competitive aspect of games: eSports. The core of eSports is similar to traditional types of sport. Players train to become better, clubs are established, tournaments are organized and fans enjoy watching their game being played on the highest level of performance. With viewers and prize money in the millions, eSports have grown into an economically significant media sport ecosystem and a marketing landscape that started to attract non-endemic companies as advertisers and sponsors. This book analyzes the components of the eSports ecosystem as well as their interactions with each other. Furthermore, the attitude of eSports fans towards engagements of non-endemic companies is researched by using a real case study including the Electronic Sports League and German home loan bank Wüstenrot.

365 and more. Stories from A Thinking Bond Blonde

This book has an intention, or it is better to say that my intention is to make you think more, to question everything, your beliefs, your intentions. To inspire you to take action.. to live, to love.. It is dedicated to all those who need that extra boost, to all those who feel like they don´t belong here, to all who feel lost and to all who struggle. This means all of you, because these are situations and emotions that we all face throughout the life. We live in a world where people have become robots, imitating each other. The world of superficial values and superficial people. We been taught to live up to other people´s expectations, yet no one has taught us to love ourselves. We´ve been taught to serve others, yet no one taught us to take care of ourselves. It sounds like slavery. Every step I have made, has brought me to here, where I am now. I have way too many experiences that I would like to share with you. My intention is to motivate, to help and to share my thoughts based on my experience and my life situations. So, if you feel like you belong here, fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride. I will try to explain through a series of short stories my view and my perspective. Speaking about serious subjects but not in a dramatic way. Because that´s what life is.. not time for drama. You should enjoy life and not take it too seriously, no matter what happens. I hope that you are going to feel comfortable and have the sensation that you´re talking (listening :D) to me, like talking to a friend while drinking some coffee. And, yes.. pardon my French in advance. Now.. it´s time to enjoy, please, have fun reading it! Namaste, Irina Vujaklija

MARCO POLO Reiseführer Vienna
12,99 € *
ggf. zzgl. Versand

With MARCO POLO Vienna you can simultaneously embark on two journeys through time. The practical travel guide, small enough to slip into your pocket, escorts you back to the glorious past of a time-honoured Habsburg city and you can marvel at the imperial splendour all along the Ringstrasse. It takes you to places steeped in tradition and coffee houses around St Stephen's Cathedral, but also catapults you into the multicultural, trendsetting world city of today. Be inspired by the mix of the beauty of the waltz and belief in the future, the mix of the Baroque and post-modern attitude to life! MARCO POLO Vienna's Insider Tips tell you where you can enjoy fantastic opera for free, lay flowers on Mozart's grave and get a great bird's eye view of the city from the cathedral tower. The low budget tips in each chapter show how you can experience a great deal with very little money, enjoy something special and snap up some real bargains. The Where to Start boxes tell you the best place to set off on your sightseeing tour, where the best buys are to be had and where it's all happening in the evening. The Best Of pages show you what's unique to Vienna, tell you about great places for free, and give tips on what to do on rainy days and where you can treat yourself and relax and chill out. The Walking Tours take you through the former Jewish Quarter; to the classic Viennese cafés for a (well deserved) intake of calories; and to Vienna's nearby mountains. And the Dos and Don'ts tell you why you should have a small black coffee rather than one with milk or cream, and always be appropriately dressed for the occasion. MARCO POLO Vienna gives comprehensive coverage all the city's districts. To help you find your way around there's a detailed street atlas and practical map inside the back cover, a map of the public transport network and removable pull-out map.DE
